Russ Skiba is an American psychologist and professor. He is known for his work on school discipline and the school-to-prison pipeline. Skiba has served as the director of the Safe and Responsive Schools Project and is currently a professor of counseling and educational psychology at Indiana University. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles and books on school discipline, including "Zero Tolerance, Zero Evidence: An Analysis of School Disciplinary Practice." Skiba has also been recognized for his work with numerous awards, including the Jeannette E. Fleischner Award for Outstanding Contributions in the Field of Human Rights and the Lifetime Achievement in Prevention Science Award from the Society for Prevention Research.
